Volunteer
Rescuing homeless dogs from kill shelters takes a lot of time, money and resources. Even if you can’t financially contribute to the cause, there are many other ways you can help with our mission. We accept volunteers and internships for school credit year-round and can tailor the work to fit your schedule and school requirements.
Social Media Internships
Are you good with Facebook and Instagram? Do you want to learn more about social media marketing? Join our social media internship program and help homeless dogs connect with loving families online.
Photography Internships/Volunteers
When it comes to dog rescue, good photos can literally be the difference between life and death. With over 90 dogs a month entering the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center, we are always in need of talented photographers. Help capture each dog’s personality for our online marketing efforts and give them a better chance at being adopted. Visit One Picture Saves for tips on how to photograph pets for adoption.
Groomers
Work hand-in-hand with our photographers and shelter to get homeless dogs camera ready. Many dogs who enter our shelter system are dirty, scared and scraggly. Good grooming helps bring out their lovable personality and make them more appealing to potential adopters. See the difference!
